I currently serve as one of the Student Services Representatives on CCSC. I am a writer for the Columbia Political Review. I also serve as a representative on the Student Governing Board of Earl Hall, which funds all religious, political and activist groups at Columbia. I have been a member of the executive board of the College Democrats for the past two years, serving this year as secretary. I’m also the founder and co-coordinator of Columbia’s new Rock the Vote chapter.

Hi, I’m Zac and I think I would make a strong Vice President for Campus Life because of a broad range of experience with both student groups and governing boards. During my time with the College Democrats, I’ve helped to manage large speaker events, smaller panels and tried to reach out to non-political organizations that share a common bond with the Democratic Party. With the Student Governing Board, I’ve interacted with a myriad of religious, political and activist groups, doing my best to connect them to the resources they need. For Rock the Vote, I’m working on putting together a large concert towards the end of the year. While we already have bacchanal, more of these large concerts help to bring together the entire Columbia community and promotes civic and political engagement to people who may not have been involved in politics before.
