Mission Statement

The Engineering Student Council will strive to represent the interests of the Engineering Students and that of the University as a whole, to improve student life, and to foster communication amongst students, faculty and administrators, and alumni throughout Columbia University.
What Does That Mean?

The Engineering Student Council, as the central student representation for the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, is responsible for ensuring that your input is part of the School and University’s decision-making process. Thus, as council members, we are committed to working hard to address any student concerns throughout every sector of Columbia University.
What Will ESC Do For Me?

The Engineering Student Council recognizes that some concerns on our campus are eminent and will serve as a select number of initiatives for the 2002-2003 academic year.
